Working closely with the club\u2019s technical director, we built a model to capture the club\u2019s playing style requirements so they could assess target players and head coach candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n

We combined analysis of style with our performance and player valuation models to provide a comprehensive perspective. Having built the models, our partnership approach enabled us to react quickly and deliver ongoing practical support. We helped ensure that Urawa Reds are among the most effective teams at making modern, data-driven decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

Following our analysis on the club\u2019s shortlist of candidates, Urawa Reds hired Ricardo Rodriguez as head coach in December 2020. They also followed our advice on which weaker-performing international players they should release, in order to improve results for the 2021 season.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>
